1800electronics.com Took my money, and never shipped the product! Internet

I ordered a christmas gift from 1800electronics.com for my son several weeks before christmas. They sell items on ebay and online so I thought it would be ok. They had electronics for really great prices and since I couldn't afford the store prices I thought this was a great deal. Immediately upon ordering an android tablet from them, they took the money out of my bank account. Usually companies wait until the item is shipped and they give you a tracking order first and then they debit the money. I called them for a tracking number several times and they kept telling me the item was on back order and told me to email the warehouse. I did so and was told it would be shipped asap. Well, its now 3 days before christmas and I don't have the tablet, and they aren't answering their phones or email. Their live chat is down, and I have no way of reaching them. I requested them to cancel my order and give me my money back over a week ago since the item was never shipped and they didn't do it. I have no money, no tablet, and no christmas gift for my son. It saddens me to think a company would steal from people like this. I will never buy anything from an online store again and hope that no one ever buys from this store ever again. They should be shut down and be forced to give people the money back that they stole.

Wow same exact story here...So I am not the only one...that is the same exact situation I am in with them and they took the money December 2nd out of my account...

I have also had this same problem. I ordered 2 netbooks and a tablet. I am out over $300.

They took my money on Dec 8th and I still havent received anything and I have been calling and emailing and no response. the only response I got was when I chatted with them about a week ago and they told me it was still processing and I would soon receive a tracking num as soon as it is shipped. This is so wrong :(

I am going to go the legal route if I don't get my money back from those people!
