AAA Classic Towing

AAA Classic Towing and autobody Extremely poor service and Ripoff Revelstoke, British Columbia

This is to inform the public of a ripoff body shop. In april of 2010, I had an accident with my truck,I was recomended AAA classic autobody for the repairs. What a huge mistake on my part and the begining of a never ending nightmare. I got an estimate for $13,094.37 which was just on the edge for fixing the truck vs buying a new one, but because of all the added goodies I decided to fix it. Well for the next 10 months they lied to me about when it would be ready, it was always "next week for sure" little did I know it had been pushed into the corner and was being ignored as they worked on other jobs. When I finally pressured them enough to finish the job, The bill is now$18,228.39!!! They said the extra was for computer chips that all of a sudden didn`t work and a blown rear end. Funny thing about the rear end is that my new rear tires are worn down twice what the fronts are. Plus there were charges for things such as Control arms and a bolt kit. Mike (who did the estimating) defends this by saying " I cant see through steel" Well , that was plainly obvious had you done you job properly. They always have an excuse for everything and bassically just blow you off. Since I have gotten it back these are the deficiencys. 1) Stereo not working (turn out it wasn`t hooked back up
2) air conditioning not working
3) wipers not installed correctly
4) Rear end that they repaired has failed.
The list goes on...Based on my experience it would be best to avoid this so called autobody shop at all costs. Unless of course you want high blood pressure and an ulcer.
