I rented from several companies before including aaa premier property management. I always was refunded mt deposit back. This was the second time I rented from aaa premier property management. I was there almost 3 years this time and 2 years previously. I knew tony Adler and his son alan very well. We had a great relationship. I too did not stay for my walk through. I was there for most of it but had to leave. I was not worried. I cleaned my apartment thoroughly! I wiped down the base boards, cabinets, drawers etc. I even took all the shelves and drawers out of my refrigerator and scrubbed it all down. I turned my keys in. I was charged almost $800.00 for repainting the apartment when it was not done for me. I was charged over $300.00 for cleaning almost $100.00 for carpet cleaning $80.00 to re-key my locks! $140.00 to re-place blinds which none of them were messed up! And almost $300 to replace mirror closet doors which I was fine with because my kids did break the doors. But the rest of the charges are insane! No where in the lease you sign prior to moving in does it say it has to be cleaned for move in ready. Also it states normal wear and tear is to be expected. I left my apartment spotless. I was sent a certified letter stating all these charges. I was shocked I called tony Adler immediately and he was telling me the roof of ny apartment had a leak and needed to be replaced I told him that's not ny problem then he say they have to get it ready for the next tenants, fine but that's not my responsibilty nor at my expense to have it ready for the next tenant. I then called my friend who is a manager of a apartment complex in arizona and told her what was going on she called to speak with tony were he began to tell her I had a dog in my apartment and they we're charging me for the deposit along with a monthly fee for the whole 3 years I was there. That is not listed on ny bill they sent me and I did not have a dog! My son is allergies to animals. They are just trying to keep my money and get more out of me. I feel like theey took advantage of me because I could not finish my walk through. I trusted them. Do not rent from this company!!!! I plan to fight for my money and will not let them get away with this. If you do be careful do your walk through and take pictures.
