Damage to Cargo/Unresponsive to Claim

Beware of AATL, Inc -

I did a 12 car order on 05/11/11 with AATL, Inc. They damaged a sunroof on a BMW that they delievered. The driver wrote on the bill of lading that he had done that. They said to the customer, they would take care of it. They didn't mention this to me nor did the customer because he was told to get an estimate and fax it in, they would take care of it. He thought they were going to be responsible for the damage, he didn't think to contact me. After several weeks of no response to him, he finally called me. I have spoken with Paul over there and have faxed him the signed bill of lading and receipts for damage twice, I have gotten the run around, he's hiding behind the driver saying he has to talk to him, he has to talk to the manager ./ owner he is only the dispatch. I call him and he doesn't return my call. I had to have an associate call him from another number so that he would pickup the call. Now he claims that he can't talk to the driver until the middle of next week. I will have to write a check to the customer for $725 so that I don't loose the account, a very large and profitable account, but AATL is responsible for damages. They were paid in full within the terms of the contract nothing withheld, I even made a direct deposit to their bank account for them and now I'm screwed. I called their insurance company to start a claim and they no longer have valid insurance, so what they have posted on central is a fake. Now their stating that I didn't submit my claim to them within the time frame stated on their contract.

I would put them on your "No Use " List. Pass this along
