ac delco AC Delco - GM Battery Leaking Acid Internet
28th of Dec, 2010 by User912621
The morning starts with my Cadilac not starting. The lights were dim so I assumed that it was the battery.

Jumped it and it started and ran until I remover the jumper cables.

I found the batterylocated under the back seat. Initial look wasallwell and clean no corrosion. When I touched the positive terminal it fell off. Ifound that it had leaked battery acid under the battery and ate a hole through the floor board of the car. The hole the size of a golf ball.

I checked on the internet to see if others havehad similar issues. I found several ontheripoff report web site.

I contacted AC Delco to see if they had any issues but all I got was that they got my email and will respond in 3 weeks. It has been over 2 months and no response. This should be a warranty issue but what should I know.

I would like to see a class action suit. Consumers are tired of being ripped off.
