I hired Ray Sutton from Ace Flooring for a small move three weeks in advance. We were all set to go, i got a quoted price, emailed him the day before to confirm and he said we were all set. The morning of my move( he was supposed to pick up a piece of furniture for me at 10am first) I get a phone call at 930 am, a half hour before the move started. It was from a guy who was not Ray asking me for all of my addresses that I needed stuff picked up at and where it was to be delivered. I was utterly confused so I called Ray. He informed me that he couldnt do the job so he was sending someone else. I was annoyed but ok with that and told him I thought it was unprofessional for him not to provide the addresses for the guy hes sending to me but he said hed take care of it. 20 minutes later( 10 min before my move) he called back and told me I had to go in the van with his mover because he didnt know where he was going! I told him I could not as I was busy and this was the reason I hired someone to do it for me. He told me "If I want it done , go with him". and that was that. I told him I cannot go with him and he told me to find someone else then. I could not believe the unprofessionalism and rudeness. Not once did he apologize! So in a bind, i had to hire someone last minute off of craigslist to do the move and thankfully they ended up being reliable. I would like to warn others to avoid him like the plague because the last thing you need on the day of your move is someone not showing up and causing you stress. also, if you google his name there are various other people he has ripped off. Thank god he didnt get money from me upfront!!
