John Gilbert from Advanced Innovation Studios or Advanced Web Innovations or Advanced whatever he wants to call his company is a true, scam artist! Not only does he sucker you in with a very low price for a website or any of his other 1 million services he claims he offers but he lies straight to your face about deadlines and cost. I am sure I am not the only one who has fallen for Mr. Gilbert's tricks and lies. I have heard from other unsatisfied clients that they have fallen victim to the advanced web innovations scam too. The only reason to post this is to prevent others from getting suckered by this thief too. I sure hope he has my money for me like he says he will, or else my lawyer will love to tear him a new one! Lastly I just want to tell everyone to be careful and research people before you conduct business with them! Take your hard earned money elsewhere to true professionals, it's worth it in the end!

I've never been a client of John's but he seems like a nice guy. I know one thing though. Recently John and his coworkers were totally victimized by a con artist by the name of Dee Mullis (a manipulative woman who also uses the first names: Diane, Bren, Brenda, B.D. and last names: Yost, Cantu, Cantu-Mullis). In fact the writing style above sounds a lot like her. This lady got John and his coworkers to invest thousands of dollars in her company using her phony contracts and ran away with the cash! She (it was a coupon-marketing magazine) started accepting money for ad space from local businesses and disappeared with it all! She even forged phoney checks to the landlord. John was big enough to come up with the money to produce and print the mailer himself. If he did anything wrong, it could be the stress of dealing with "Dee Mullis." She has a pattern of starting up networking businesses, etc. only to take the money and run. She has hundreds of victims across the OC. She targets christians, dog owners and small businesses in Orange County. Try searching Brenda Diane Mullis Scam to find out more scary stuff. She usually works out of Huntington Beach. And she loves to retaliate on sites like this. I hope everything is alright with John and everyone at 2aistudios. Be strong and do right.

I was also scammed by John. I paid in full and still had my site taken down because he failed to pay the hosting fees. I tried over and over again to get a hold of him so I could give him the $ for the hosting fees to save my site but he never returned a cal or email. He blatantly disregarded me and didn't care that I lost my site after paying him over $2000.00 for it. As far as the Dee situation. I know first hand what happened. Not only was he not a victim, he benefited from it. The people that got scammed were the people who paid for the adds in the coupon book NOT JOHN. In his defense he did not know that Dee was a scam artist, but he did not loose a penny I KNOW THAT FOR A FACT.
