Affordable Computer Repair Kept money despite no repair Jacksonville, Florida

On 8/1/2011, I brought in my laptop because the battery was no longer charging in it. Affordable Computer Repair claimed they knew what the problem was, could fix it, and it would cost 125 dollars. A week later I pick up my computer from Affordable Computer Repair, pay them, and take the computer home. Once I turn it on, batteries still no longer charge in my computer. I called Affordable back, and tell them I just picked it up and doesnâ€™t work and they claim, â€œWell it worked when we had it.â€ They tell me to bring it in and theyâ€™ll look at it. I do so and they tell me itâ€™s going to cost an additional $250 to fix it because the motherboard was the problem. I told them I didnâ€™t want to do that and figured they would just credit my card back because they werenâ€™t able to fix the problem. They refused. And they said that people usually sell them their laptops for 20 bucks when Affordable canâ€™t fix them and they use those laptops for parts. They showed me piles and piles of laptops in the back which people had sold to them when they couldnâ€™t fix it. I think this is what they do and I heard a similar story on yellowpages.com about this place dated 9/17/2011. I told them I would contact the Better Business Bureau and write a Google review and they said go ahead. Now Iâ€™m going through Bank of America to get my money back and although Bank of America is understanding, it's a headache.
