aflac Took Money From My Paycheck For 3 Years Without My Knowledge New York, New York

In mid-2008 when I first started working at my current job, we were offered AFLAC coverage at a good rate due to our company picking up most of the weekly fee. I signed up with the rep, then immediately cancelled the next day after doing some research about the company. I informed the rep that I wanted the policy cancelled and she assured me that because the forms had not been submitted, that she would cancel the policy. I do not check my paycheck stubs, as it is direct deposit. But the other day I looked over one and noticed that AFLAC was billing my paycheck. I talked with our company accountant and she looked into it and found out that not only had they been billing me for over 3 YEARS, the company I work for had been paying weekly for the rest of my policy that I did not pay for. After contacting AFLAC customer service, they said that I tried cancelling my policy two weeks after I signed up but could not cancel it because a certain "window" had closed. This was not the case. I had cancelled the very next day and have a co-worker as a witness to this. I will pursue further action towards AFLAC and make it a point for them to compensate me for three years of service that I wasn't aware I was being billed for.
