Travis Baird with All Around Lawn Care from Coppell, Texas committed Fraud and Criminal Trespass. I arranged before leaving town on a business trip to have my Christmas lights installed on the house. The company that I had hired agreed to come by on Sunday to install the lights. I left the lights and wreath out behind my drive gate to accommodate the company I had hired (Jason was the owner of this company).
Travis , whom I had never met, showed up at my house on Saturday. He had been troweling through the neighborhood from another job he had done close by. My wife was in our room when she heard my 2 little girls leave the house. To her surprise, our little girls and all the Christmas lights where on the front lawn. My wife explained that she was not expecting anyone until Sunday. Travis said that he was their to get the lights up. Travis had gone behind our wrought iron gate and took our lights from there containers without even checking at our front door.
This action was extremely bold. Bold enough that one would think that he was apart of the true company hired. My wife did not question it because of the boldness. She thought surely this is the right guys, though she did not recognize Travis or his guys. When Travis was done, he went to the front door to collect payment. My wife asked about getting the rest of the lights up around our trees and shrubs like we normally do. He said that there was not enough lights. (while 3 boxes of lights where still setting in the drive way.) This was unusual because the company (Jason) that I had hired has done our lights for several years in a row doing the same thing, year after year. (Travis did a horrible job hanging the lights. A portion of lights just stops half way across one section of the roof line.) My wife asked Travis what I had worked out with Jason before I left to go out of town. Travis said that he needed $200. Again, unusual because we were always billed by invoice in the mail for the job. Though my wife plainly said Jason (the owner of the true company), while asking what I had worked out for payment, Travis not one time indicated that He was not with the other company nor raised concern that He did not know a Jason. Travis quickly left and went straight to the bank and cashed the check. The teller did have him place his finger print on the check. When I arrived home, I got the story. I called Jason and asked if Travis Baird was apart of his company. Jason said that he does not have a Travis Baird employed with his company. He also asked why I had the lights installed on my house and didn't call him to cancel the Sunday appointment. I explained the scam Travis Baird had pulled. Though Jason did not now his name, He told of a similar thing that had happen to him a year ago in Coppell, TX with another customer of his. Almost to a "T" was the story like what had just happen to us. I asked what the company's name was, he said "All Around Lawn Care".
After investigating for "Travis Baird", I found that he is the owner of company in Coppell TX called "All Around Lawn Care". Same guy. I have left messages with him, but He has not returned one phone call. His website is: www.aalctx.com Travis, You lied to my family. You entered my property without consent. Plus, you were around my 2 little girls who I hold very dear to my heart. I will bring Justice. Trust me on this one.
