I moved here 2yrs ago and signed up for allegiance cable, internet and phone. Since day one it has been a constant struggle to get the service to work properly. The initial install had wires draped across my floors and after calling Customer Support they said the cabling inside the house wasnt there responsibility. In the 2yrs I have used Allegiance I have seen at least 20 techs, had my equipment changed out 5 times and been stuck waiting at the house (while missing work) 8 times. Now the techs just show up unannouced without being scheduled or the office calling first. The three most terrible techs I have had include one guy that couldnt stop my computer from disconnecting so he sat down at MY computer looked up Buffalo Wild Wings then called his buddy to make a lunch date!!! The other was a guy who opened the attic vent on the gable end of my house and rested it on the GAS line about 12 feet in the air above my back door (it weighs about 60lbs) he packs up and tells my wife he will have the office send someone else while this thing is sitting on my gas line. The office calls and says a tech will be out in 3 days!!! I actually had to leave work and go to the office to talk to a supervisor to get someone to put the vent back on 6hrs later!!! When the tech got there (another couple of hrs missed at work) he couldnt find the bearing wall in the attic that he was to snake the wires in. I had to drill the hole myself!!!! Still to this day I have to have CS send a signal to my box at least once a week, my phone still drops calls ON A LAND LINE PHONE!!!!! Tonight I had people over to watch some Football and like clockwork the cable box freezes up and needs a reboot and signal sent. All the while I pay $110 a month for this crap. It is the only choice here in shawnee for some godforsaken reason and it needs to change, I know at least half of there customers feel the same way and someone needs to step up and stop this BS!!!!!
