We ordered a bronze plaque and granite gravemarker to match that of my Father's. He was WWII soldier and the VA provided his bronze and granite gravemarker. It has been at this grave site for 26 years coming the August 24, 2011. We ordered a matching bronze plaque and granite gravemarker for my recently deceased Mother to match. We placed the order, made payment in full. We waited and were run around for 14 months, April 2010 to the present, June 2011. The plaque was not produced and after many many calls and requests, and a barage of lies, we finally thought the stone was to be laid. Today, June 2th, my friend and I went to look at the freshly laid bronze plaque only to find that my Father's VA bronze plaque had been removed. Instead of my Mother's stone matching my Father's - my parents now both have small granite headstones. My Father's bronze plaque was illegally and with out any authorization, removed; literally removed from its 26-year resting place and replaced by granite. Instead of two matching bronze plaques, we now have had a theft of the one bronze plaque and two small matching haphazardly done, stones in what looks like granite. My Mother died 16 months ago and the extra aggravation and degradation to the gravesite, not to mention the stress to me and my family has been unbearable. The lies have continued, the product was not produced, and my Father's plaque was literally stolen from the cemetery therefore, descerating his gravesite. This is now a felony theft. Do not do business with Alliance Monument Co., LLC in Hollywood, Florida and/or with Sandor Barany unless you plan to totally disrespect your loved ones' memories, grave sites and unless you can stand tremendous stress, disrespect, breach of contract and criminal actions.
