American debt and Car loan modification They charged me fees of $2452.47 including $812 of the last amount I paid of $406 for the months of Septembe

I The fore mentioned company charged me $2452.47 in fees since August of 2010 while settling with one company for $880. The last two payments made to them for 406 was said to go for accelerated negotiations for a settlement with one other company. They also want me to pay them another 3 payments 0f $220.00 and a final payment of $ 81.00. I still have a balance in their account of $697.40. Their reasoning is since the charges on the accounts that they contracted with me have increased because of nonpayment after they made the contract I am responsible for these increases even though their fees are the fore mentioned amounts I live on social security disability. It really took my goat when I was told that the last amounts of $406 X 2 or the fore mentioned $ 806nwent for accelerated negotiotion fees. This was the last straw. Earlier they asked me if I would like to be out of debt before the holidays. Now it is in February.
