American Investment Training Global Career Schools Didn't refund my money Internet

I ordered a self-study course for Series 7 and Series 66 licensing, November 2010. After placing the order, I determined the need to get started right away and didn't want to wait to receive it in the mail so I contacted them about their return policy and was told that is was no problem as long as it was returned in like-new condition within 3 weeks. Given that, I signed up for an online course with another company and when the package arrived from American Investment Training, I just opened it up, put it another box and returned to sender. When my refund wasn't forthcoming I attempted to contact their office. This was difficult because they have no phone number so I sent faxes and e-mails. I finally got a response at one point and the person stated they'd be refunding my $220 on a credit card. Another month passed and no refund. I again spent considerable time trying to contact them with similar results. I finally filed a Better Business Bureau complaint and got a call from a guy who said he'd look into it. Again, weeks have passed with no word. It has been six months and I'm out $220 to date. I'm a business person and this type of behavior is what gives business people a bad name.

I'm surprised. I found American Investment Training to be an excellent company. My office has used them for over 10 years with no problems. Were the materials damaged in any way? They also have many affiliates, so perhaps it was bought through someone else.
