We designed the American Victory Star which was a shadow box with the American Flag background and a marble star mounted in the blue field. The marble was from Marble, Colorado, which is the purest white marble available, second only to marble from Italy and used in many national monuments, including the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and other monuments around the country. The deal was that for $125.00 you would get the shadow box, that had an area to mount Medals that soldiers had received in their service to our country and a large portion of that money would go to veteran services. I know he sold some here in Montrose, and to my knowlege never gave any money's to veterans.

This man is a scam artist and smooth talker. He has an answer for everything, and a sad story about where he moved from and why he had to move. He swindles women in particular and seems to like nurses. He has abandoned one child that is now an adult and has left behind 3 children here in Montrose.

He took money from a woman that we worked with at the local rock and stone quarry, on two different occassions that I am aware of. One time for $500 and the next time $1,000. She never did press charges against him and was murdered (not by him, but someone else, he had no connection to that), so nothing could be done and he left town within a couple of years.

I was later in touch with a gentleman in Dallas that hired him as a salesman, andthat Mr. Redmond was stealing from him, so I believe that his practices have not change.
