Another Canucks Tickets Scam

Hello again,

there is a guy named "Tylor Cobb" . He is selling tickets to both TD and Rogers Arena for Playoff Finals game 5 & 7. When you contact him, he says the following:

We will go through Stubhub.The business is simple, all I need is confirmation that you want to conclude the deal and immediately afterwards I will contact stubhub notify them that we agreed on sales detail and they send you an invoice to pay. All the answers about how an exchange take place between a buyer and seller find them in that bill payment. You have to send the money on the name of an agent from Stubhub.Read carefully the message from them, follow all steps as are described. Immediately after you send the money transfer you have to send all the details you are required by stubhub. They will check if the transfer is made and if everything is ok, it notifies me to send tickets to you. After you receive your tickets, you have 24 hours available to check if they are those you have bought, then you must inform stubhub, as tickets are ok. Only then stubhub send me a copy of payment details that I could collect the money.

The first clue that this was a scam was 4 lower bowl tickets for $1600 for Game 5 & 7. I have seen a few variations of this way of scamming prospective ticket buyers - all of the versions involve sending money first then receiving tickets. They will say they are using reputable exchange services like "Stub Hub" or Pay Pal, etc... I phoned Stub Hub and they said this is a popular scam that they believe is based in Romania. There is a Tylor Cobb based in Las Vegas who should be getting a knock at his door soon. But I digress.

Please post scams to this site. I am doing my best to alert people by posting the ones I come across. I don't work for this site btw, but I find it easy to google and read of other scams. If we stay vigilant, keep each other informed, the scammers stand less of a chance of getting someone.
