Appliance Specialists Christine Strahan, Appliance Repairs Never show up to do repairs, Demand $ upfront, Never return calls, hide behind receptionist

Company sent an unprofessional repairman, Joe Medina, and a young boy to repair a refrigerator. The repairman Joe Medina demanded $200 up front(for parts) and said repair woud be $500. He sat at my kitchen table scratching his head as he did not know what computer board to order. He told me it would take 3-5 days for boards to arrive. Actually the boards could be overnighted from dallas. He never came back to do repairs or called to give an update on parts. Parts are ordered from Appliance Parts Depot ( which does not require pmt up front) I called after 3 days asking about parts, the receptionist Carrie used stalling techniques and would not let me talk to owner Christine Strahan. I called at 10AM on Monday and was told the accounting dept does not arrive until 11AM. I called back as a vendor inquring about a returned check and was put on hold for 30 min. I refused to hang up. The owner Christine finally came to the phone. I got a fax # and faxed a copy of complaints on BBB and asked for my $200 to be refunded. Christine called me on her cell phone asking for proof the repair was done by another serviceman. I told her I was under NO obligtaion to send her any documentation. I contacted my bank and they would handle the dispute with the other bank. I also lost $250 in groceries since the repairman never showed up and never even called to explain what would happen next. DO NOT use these people! Read the BBB compliants.
Christine is running a repair scam scam. The Internet shows 3-4 business with the same address and slightly different names " Appliance repair" but all on Stahl Road.I now have the information I need to file a lawsuit in small claims court to recover $200, legal fees and damages.
