Ms Maxine Burns Hardy does not provide the services she promotes or advertises. As the previous author stated, she will make time for you when you are trying to pursue her services but once that debit/check clears... (it's crickets). She may hold a small conversation with you briefly after you pay but after a week, you will "never" hear her voice again. All correspondence will be through her assistant and eventually even she will abandon the scene. There will be long periods where she tells you nothing, nothing at all. All of a sudden, one day you'll get papers that were filed weeks in advance and she'll want you to respond that same day. She often forgets to send you information or submit your information/documentation. Maxine will not argue on your behalf nor make an effort to express the "facts". She's not respected by other attorney's so it's easy for them to bully her. Her knowledge of the law is very limited and she does not have the ability to counteract anything she should already know the answer to.

If you are like myself, you don't know the law and you expect your attorney to be familiar with updates in regards to law and justice. However, Maxine will often go around issues of what the law actually states and what the true guidelines are. I called another attorney to check their availability and explain my situation, turned out that the attorney gave me more information during our (15) minute conversation than Ms. Hardy provided in (6) months.

Inclosing, I would strongly advise anyone against using Ms. Hardy as your legal representation. Your money is what she sees, your money is what she knows, your money is what she get's but your best interest will not be in concern or protected. She appears to be a nice person (and she may be) but her legal practices are far below the expectations that you would imagine for a lawyer.
