Auto Parts Warehouse JC Whitney Took my order for a part they knew was out of stock and charged me $25 for 2 day shipping! Carson, California

Last tuesday I called JC Whitney to ask if they had an a/c compressor for a 2002 Saturn wagon. They said they didn't but would check their "sister company". They transferred me to a young lady who took my information, checked her system and said that they had them in stock. I placed an order and paid an extra $25 for 2 day express shipping. It's been 2 days and no word and no part. I called them and they said that they were out of stock. I told Customer Service that when I ordered the part and paid $432 the girl said they WERE in stock. He said that he didn't know anything about that and that they were out of stock and my money would be refunded. Great. It's 90 degrees out, my A/C has been broken for almost a week and they pulled this on me. What a bunch of deceitful ripoff artists. This is a really lousy company.

Never, never, never, never, never, ever, again. I purchased a hood ornament from their online catalogue. Two months and a back order delay, later, they informed me part is not in stock. I did get refund. Pissed, I just simply purchased, much more easily through another company. My other car is currently sitting in my garage, after I went to the shop where it was sitting for two months (out in the weather) because the mechanic ordered a fuel float from J.C. Whitney, who told him they had them in stock. That was in January of 2012. Tomorrow is April 1. I guess we are the fools. Did I say never, again?

Scaminformer.com is a terrible company.This company does not allow stuff to be erased unless you pay their lawyer that they have advertised with them. SCAM INFORMER SHOULD BE ERASED FROM THE INTERNET. This Scam Informer website is a fraud!!!

It is so easy for ex and fired employees to slander here. It does not investigate the claims they have on this website!
