I made a part # error on my order and realized just after I confirmed the order. I asked to change the order but they said they couldn't add or change parts (despite that the order wasn't shipped until 3 days later). What a bunch of BS that is...

Their "customer service" just don't care to make any effort to help a customer once they have your money. So my only option would have been to pay to ship the part back then get only 80% of item cost back in store credit which ends up all being a huge waste of time and money. I will NEVER ever order from them again.

Autopartsway ripped me off big time. I ordered a $70 transmission part and they sent a $5 trailer wiring adapter part in place of it. Contacted them RMAed it back at my cost of shipping, it was delivered and signed for.
I waited a week for them to ship my part, never got notified of anything being shipped. Contacted them inquiring about my part shipment, was told that they had received it, but couldn’t verify it to ship my correct part to me because they had lost my return in their warehouse. (funny since they don’t actually have any physical warehouse) Further they asked me to give them a few hours to look for it.
I waited, 3 days passed and still no conformation email or contact from them! No email, no follow up from customer service, no nothing!
I had paid through paypal and now have filed a claim against them, wrote to them 3 times through paypal and still have not gotten a single communication in return.

At this point I’m out a total of $86.93 (including my return shipping cost) and have nothing in my possession to show for my money and they seem to be avoiding any communication! It’s been 24 days since I placed my order and this is how I’m treated?

NEVER EVER AGAIN!
WARNING to everyone - STEER CLEAR, Autopartsway is a online SCAM OPPERATION!

SUMMARY;
THEY HAVE NO DISCLOSED TRACABLE ADDRESS – ONLY difficult to discover PO Box addresses.
THEY HAVE NO DISCLOSED TRACABLE OFFICE LOCATION
THEY HAVE NO DISCLOSED TRACABLE NAMES OF HUMAN ASSOCIATES
THEY HAVE NO DISCLOSEURE OF ANY REAL BUSINESS INFORMATION WHATSOEVER.

THEY DO HAVE A WEBSITE AND TAKE PEOPLES CREDIT CARD NUMBERS AND PAYMENTS.

AUTOPARTSWAY is a New Form of the old Ponzi scheme. It is set up and run identically to a Ponzi Scam. They build up great reviews, word of mouth and happy customers before they run off with everyone’s money. Read up on Ponzi scheme and see how it could be reformatted to selling auto parts in place of investment shares. Instead of investment share returns, customers get auto parts, word of mouth spreads and more new customers come in to blindly buy from them, it all builds on trust from word of mouth alone. Whoever is behind Autopartsway has it set up to be able to completely vanish without a trace with everyone’s money and credit card numbers. THINK BEFORE YOU BUY!

Here is some INTERESTING CONSUMER INFORMATION about “AUTOPARTSWAY”.
AUTOPARTSWAY has no warehouse at all. It actually has no location at all. It is run completely mobile without any traceable location! They do not warehouse anything, nor do they even have an office! They place orders with drop ship parts suppliers. They do not physically ever deal with any orders at all. This is just one of the reasons why customers have to pay return shipping back to their original drop shipper at their customer’s expense. Another reason is refund disputes! It enables them to deny a refund and keep your money all based your using an undisclosed third parties involvement, the drop shipper whom you often don’t know. You have to prove the drop shipper received your return and that the drop shipper has refunded Autopartsway your money, before you can get your refund, but you can’t do this very easily!

AUTOPARTSWAY is NOT a member of the BBB (Better Business Bureau) because they don’t meet the requirement. However multiple complaints have been filed with the Bureau against them. AUTOPARTSWAY Canada and USA are both the same company and run buy the same Boiler Room Scam Operation. Their Domain name registration has changed hands 146 times in only 2 years. The only way you can find out any information as for addresses is looking up business license and domain name information. That information is useless because the addresses you find turn out to be PO BOX’ and invalid locations.
Why would someone in any legitimate business go through so much trouble to hide any validating business information? THINK BEFORE YOU BUY!
THEY HIDE THEIR TRUE IDENTITY AND WHEREABOUTS, HAVE A WEBSITE THAT TAKES YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBERS AND PAYMENTS. THINK, THINK, THINK! Or just send me your money!

LOOK CLOSELY through the AUTOPARTSWAY website, you’ll notice that there actually is not one bit of information to be found about the company anywhere. No physical address, no names of people to contact, no photos of the business or a warehouse, no office, nothing but a phone number. Their company information page has no information about them at all. It should contain their fundamental validating business and contact information. In place of that all it has a glamorized pitch about how great they are and what savings they can pass onto you as a customer. This should be your FIRST SCAM WARNING SIGN. You are buying from an undisclosed unknown entity! You are blindly giving your money and or credit card information over to a complete undisclosed stranger operating from a non disclosed, non traceable location!

Although they have a functioning business website, it is missing all the essential important information that any legitimate business has. There is not a single Named Person, Owner or traceable party name listed anywhere. Nor is there any mailing address, business address or contact information anywhere. Scammers deliberately do this to make it extremely difficult for them to be found or tracked down in order to evade law enforcement! Ultimately the only thing they offer is a boiler room phone number and the website email address! That’s it!

OK, let me jump in here and say one thing. As a rule of thumb, No Legitimate Business ever has anything to hide nor has any reason not to be completely up front about its contact information. The act of providing that sort of information is essential to any real businesses basic validation. Otherwise BIG WARNING SIGN is that it should be viewed as suspiciously hiding the most basic of information right from the start. Do more than read reviews, word of mouth reviews are what the scam lives on! Look deeper, look for basic things that should be disclosed that validate a business from the start. A physical business address, contact information etc. Any real business with nothing to hide should be more than happy and willing to provide this information.
