| back ground checks b ware lookupltd.com) on aguest 1st 2011 i wanted a address looked up in tennessee for a trial period of one i got the address all wright but when i got my bank statement i had another amount of$18.95 on it that caused me to be over drawen on my account that cost me another $20 the utha bbb is working on the case.I got hold of a live orpeator at look up her what had happened she put me on hold for a few an came bk an said that she had put 18.95 back on card when i told about the $20 i was cut off after with her last light 1 hour later i checked my account nothing put back same way this after noon at 6.55 central time.ray corning arkanas |

If for some reason a report was unavailable, although this is rare, it usually means there is some redundant information in the system. However, in order to achieve outstanding customer service which we pride ourselves on, we always offer refunds. | owe tried this company about a week ago and we were charged $1 to try out the system. we recieved no results on the person we were trying to check up on. i imediately callled customer service to cancel and then they told me i had to wait 48 hour then go to their website and cancel; by pushing the red button. this did not work and within 7 days i have been charged 18.95 plus the dollar . I have now HAD CANCEL THE CREDIT CARD AND SO I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THIS WEBSITE. YOU HAVE BEEN VERY DECEITFUL. |

| I had registered for the $1 service for the car fax report. I wanted to cancel ths registration, but i am not able to reach the number given for the cancellation. i don't want myself to be charged 18.95 unnecessarily since i am not using it. |

I tried the service and also began seeing a monthly charge of 18.95 on my card.
I requested money back and was negotiated as to what percentage. agreed on letting them keep $9.48
So this month I was charged a second time for the $18.95 and then again the same day $9.48
Their web site is down now. Is there anyone organized to go after lookupltd.com?
They could not find the one person I was searching for. |

Mistake I was in fact credited the amount. I missed the neg sing in my card report.
lookupLTD.com did pay me back all except for half of one month $9.48 for the one time $1 service.
They said I had seven days to stop a monthly membership. I had requested a stop of membership within minutes of completing a failed search.
They did not give all back. One should expect to negotiate what they take.
Still I would recommend to stay away from their services.
Has anyone ever found someone with this service that did not show up with standard google searches? |
