Bank of America Bank of America Credit Card Raised interest rate DRASTICALLY with NO warning! dallas, Internet

2009 - Woman with no money, husband is cheating on me and decides he wants a divorce, so I borrow $25,000.00 from Bank of America credit card to pay lawyer's fees and have money to survive with my daughter until the divorce is final and I can pay the card off. Bank of America SAYS the money is going to be 0% interest for 1 year (of course, if payments are late 3 months in a row, the interest rate goes up, etc.). That is acceptable, because the payments are set up to come out of the bank account automatically, so I KNOW they are not going to be late. HOWEVER, Bank of America enters the WRONG bank account routing number so the FIRST MONTH payment does NOT go through, and they raise the finance charge/interest rate to 29%! This is NOT the 3rd late payment, but the FIRST late payment AND it is THEIR FAULT!! My finance charge goes from $0 to over $900.00 a month!!!
As soon as I see this, I call and speak to MULTIPLE people at BofA. NO DICE! I can't afford a lawyer to get them to lower the rate back, or lower it AT ALL, so I am STILL paying off this debt!!!
IF there is ANYONE out there who can help me get ANY of this money back from BofA, it would be GREATLY appreciated! I am a single mom who is struggling with debt, and I need HELP!
