Beckens Moving Company Experienced Van lines Not experinaced at ALL!!!! SCAM ARTISTS!!! Brooklyn, New York

This is the worst company ever.... They are con-artist, looking to scam and scam innocent people. After researching various moving companies, I booked through Beckens/Experienced Van lines. I have e-mails proving the original quotes and what was discussed, so they couldn't try and pull a fast one on me, but this company is still trying to twist things around for their own benefit. I was to have my items picked up on Tuesday from Bensalem PA, March, 22nd or Wednesday, March, 23rd. I received a call from Beckens asking if I would please allow pick-up on Monday, March 20th, b/c they had another pick up in the area and I would be helping them out, I said that was fine but would they be able to deliver Tuesday, March, 22nd or Wednesday, March, 23rd to Alexandria VA. I was told that would not be a problem and that the latest my things would come would be Friday at NOON. I never got a call from anyone, when my items didn't arrive all week, I had to keep calling them and then I would get the run around. Mind you they have whole family's bedding, clothing and all house hold items and we are sleeping on the floor.... Awful Situation!!! I finally spoke to John the "dispatch manager" I asked when can I expect my things its been all week, on my quote it stated TUESDAY DELIVERY. He gave me the truck drivers number and I had to contact the driver myself, what company does that?? Shouldn't it be up to the "DISPATCH MANAGER", to perform his managerial duties??? So I contact the driver and he's very short with me, he tells me that my items will be dropped of by noon on Saturday. Well again here I sit in a empty apartment awaiting this horrific company, it passes 1pm and still no items or truck... I call the driver he says he's in Jersey and that he would be to me around 4 or 5, that time passes I call again, now he won't answer his phone and its getting later and later. I finally get a call back saying he would be there around 7pm Saturday... This driver doesn't show up until 9:28 pm and walks in and says your balance is $317.00 and I'm charging you an additional $75.00 for stairs even though the quote in my possession states the first flight is free, and outside didn't count b/c it was outside of the building.... Not only did he enter my home with an attitude, he was extremely rude and argumentative and way late, And he smelled like alcohol. Of course I was going to pay my balance owed but I was not paying any additional money for anything. My quote from this company started at 630.00 then jumped to 944.00. Clearly no additional my should be charged, So this drunk driver is now fighting/cursing with me and my family and will not give me my things. I was told to shut my mouth, Respect this business, Not only was this company trying to extort money from me they were insulting my intelligence and my family. I tried desperately to reach anyone.... I called every number I had for beckens and experienced van lines, I e-mailed and left messages, and paged this company. I didn't get a call back till noon on Sunday and was told by John the "dispatch manager" again to "shut up" several times and "either I left them deliver Sunday only or I don't get my things, and have a nice life". I tried to explain to him that I wasn't even in VA due to us having to finish up loose ends in PA and that I would be available on Monday for delivery, John was yelling and carrying on and hung up on me. I saved his threatening message stating to keep my things if I don't allow delivery on Sunday only. This company has the worst staff, drunk drivers/delivery guys and tries to extort money from good people. My Mother and Father in-law tried to reason with this company, now they are saying that i need to pay an additional $300.00 bucks to have my things delivered and they have changed their story about coming to my house at 9:28pm on Saturday to deliver. I currently still do not have my things and now have to seek legal council; thank you Becken/Experienced Van lines for making this the most inconvenient and frustrating experience of my life, see you in court..... and PS, change your name to INEXPERIENCED BLOOD SUCKERS
