Ben Torres doing business as Decks4Less and Ben's Home Improvements isn't registered to do business in the State of North Carolina. He's just a guy working out of his truck. He puts on a real good show and makes all kinds of promises, but I ended up with work done to my house that was not what he promised. And on top of that it took much longer for him to do than he said it would. And he told me he would do the work himself and he didn't. And he said he was with the BBB and he is NOT. He made himself sound and look real good and I didn't do my homework to check him out and I got took! This guy is just a good salesman. I thought I was getting a great deal and it ended up that you get what you pay for. The cheap price I was getting wasn't too great in the end. He got me to give him a big down payment and then I didn't see him for nearly a month. He just kep putting me off and putting me off. THEN when he did show up, I was expecting him to do the work like he promised but he didn't he just dropped a couple guys at my house and left! I'm disappointed with the money I spent and what I got for it. Everything he said was a lie. Waste of money and waste of time. I NEVER write reviews. But if someone had done this earlier maybe I would have known and not hired him. So I hope this helps somebody.

We've had a bad experience also with Ben Torres aka Decks4Less and Ben's Home Improvements. He has a HORRIBLE reputation in the Home Improvement business in this area. His "sales pitch" is that he does the work himself. That is only because he can't find anyone willing to work with him or do his jobs because he doesn't pay! He uses a different crew on every job he manages to fool homeowners into giving him.

He is full of colorful "stories" - most people would call them BOLD FACE LIES!!!

So please take what he says about this company for what it's worth...NOTHING!!!

He's not from this area, but claims to have been here over a decade. In the past decade hasn't been able to maintain any relationships - personnally or professionally!!! NO FRIENDS or FAMILY or CONNECTIONS!

THAT SPEAKS VOLUMNS ABOUT WHAT KIND OF MAN HE IS!
