Berger Allied The worst moving company in the planet - Would not recommend to my worst enemy westmont, Illinois

I hired Berger Allied to perform an international move from US to Brazil. They gave me an estimated transit time of 33-43 days. They also gave me through their representative in Brazil another 25 business days to deliver the goods to my home. In total, 2 to 2.5 months to have my stuff. They also gave an estimate for that move of $23k in total for the US and Brazilian portion of the move. They started my move with a delay of almost 1 month just to have my container shipped to Brazil. They hired MSC who made a mistake and put a different name, other than mine in the documentation, so, the brazilian customs, hold on my process for more than usual time, another month of delay. A basic mistake that is unacceptable for a big company to make. Dozens and dozens of emails, no good and real answers from Berger. They have no control on their suppliers. They do not care with their customers. I did not care with me. Their representative in Brazil is the worst transportation company in the country, with no reputation. That's the kind of suppliers Berger hires. Finally, when I did the final payment to Berger, they said, and their representative in Brazil as well that in 2 days I would have my stuff. After more than 1 week I still do not have even a confirmation when it's going to happen. Today is October 31, 2011, and after more than 4 months and a half, I still don`t have my goods. My family is suffering. We are under major stress, and Berger, is not able to do anything. I do not recommend the use of this company to anybody. Companies like that should be out of business. If anybody is willing to hire them, go check the internet and see what do people say about them. I can offer to anybody emails that prove all what I am saying. Valter
