Biddeford Blankets Sealy Warranty.... 800# no answer... Trouble contacting customer service Mundelein, Illinois

I purchased my blanket in 2007 from JCPenney.com... It has a 5-year warranty on both the controllers and the blanket. Both controllers both went out the same week. I have all my paperwork... JCPenney would not honor the warranty but told me to call Biddeford. The 800# same as on my paperwork got a 'busy' signal. I sent email 11-29-2011 I also mailed copy of all my paperwork to address in owners manual. I will update when I have a response.

I had a similar problem with a 2009 blanket; after 2 year's error-free operation, one controller goes to 'E' after 10 minutes. I called JCPenney who gave me a number @ Biddeford Blanket Company. They answered right away, suggested a couple of troubleshooting steps, and told me to call them back with the results. Try this number: 800/789-6441. I have purchased 2 blankets from JC Penneys within the last three years. One lasted 14 months & the last one 6 months before one or the controllers when off. I tried to contact the warrenty department, but did not get a reply. I have a feeling that if the warrenty department is so busy that they can't get back to you, maybe the 5 year warrenty is a scam.

Not a complaint, but push 0 and keep pushing 0 until it puts in you queue for customer service. It may knock you back to a recording but push 0 until customer service answers. Worked for me after several attempts for return calls from Biddeford.
