| Bio Tech Research Sold cheap, allegedly great, vacuum cleaner that broke,just over year old, now can not get parts for repairs! Canton, Ohio |

July , 2009 we rec'd an advertisement in the mail for the EdenPURE BIO speedclean UV vacuum cleaner, which was advertised as an advanced technology in vauum cleaners, with UV sanitizing and cleaning system with hepa filtration dust and dirt collection bags that was said to" provide years of efficient , dependable service." It was also stated, "Your Bio SpeedCLEAN UV vacuum cleaner is made with high quality materials and superior workmanship" This sounded like a really great vacuum cleaner at what seemed to be a really great price of about $230.00 and so on July 23,2009 we ordered one which we rec'd sometime in Aug., 2009. when we first used this vacuum cleaner I was really impressed with the way it cleaned, filtered the air and left the room fresh and even smelling cleaner! Then after approximately six months, I had to replace the brush driver belt and then again a few months after that again. Then when it was just about one year old it started to blow dust back into the air in minimal amounts, but enough to be able to smell it, so we called the company's customer service no. and were told that there was nothing they could do about it as the vacuum was out of warranty and could not be repaired or replaced. In the mean time we had also had to order and purchase several more drive belts and a couple of extra packages of dirt collecting bags, so now we have a supply of both that are now totally useless to us as just a month ago the cheap plastic handle broke off and CAN NOT BE REPAIRED due to the location of the break. Once again we called their customer service to see if we could get a replacement handle and were told that they do not make replacement parts for this machine and again the vac is out of warranty and that we were to just tape it together with duct tape!!! Well now I think I've heard everything from a customer service dept of a company telling you to just duct tape this fine peice of equipment together that there are no replacement parts for a machine that is not even two years old, after they raved about the high quality materials and workmanship of this vacuum!! To me, this is just a TOTAL RIPP OFF and and total lack of customer concern, and I am therefore WARNING anyone EVEN THINKING OF BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY, DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT!!! We are now stuck with a wothless peice of junk and extra bags and belts that fit nothing else! BUYER BEWARE AND BE WARNED!!!
