I placed an order with Birthday Mania on March 7, 2011. The shipping information said that it would be here on the 16th of march. My sons birthday party is on the 20th of march. So it would have been here in plenty of time for the partyy so I didnt use any express shipping. I called for a tracking number three different times and the person on the phone said there wasnt one available. On the 15th of March I received an e mail stating that my order had been shipped and the e mail also contained a tracking number. When i looked up the tracking number it said that order wouldnt be here until the 21st. The day AFTER the party! So i called them AND e mailed them only for the lady to be RUDE as can me and tell me there is nothing they can do. If I dont like it I can return the order and pay for the re stocking or I can re order and pay for express OVERNIGHT shipping. Then she hung up on me. I was appauled! I called back and explained my situation to someone else and she told me it was against policy to do anything to tell the costumer to either return the item or re-order. This is rediculous. If they say it will take 36-48 hours to ship and order it should take that long. If they give you a delivery date, they should do what it takes to get it to you on the date they said it would be there... Needless to say... I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. I would rather pay the full price and know that I will get it then pay half price and not receive anything!
