Blue Scape Timeshares
Blue Scape Timeshares BlueScape Timeshare Lies for 8 months Internet
6th of Nov, 2010 by User560607
I feel that I am not easily scammed, but I was definitely taken this time. I sent 10% of what my closing costs would be for selling my timeshare at the end of Feb. 2010. These funds were to be placed into an escrow account that I would get back upon the sale of my timeshare in the Virgin Islands. It is now November and I haven't seen a penny from my certified check sent to 'escrow' or the sale of my timeshare. Maureen Chandler is the 'point person' that I was to be in contact with since March. She has an excuse for everything - we are waiting for our attorneys to check everything, we had to change title companies, there was a death in the office & we are behind. . . . . . but never had any specifics as to when my timeshare was going to sell. Lots of discussions telling me to call back on Friday & then she wasn't there. This continued to occur until two weeks ago. Now, no one is answering & an automated customer service voicemail comes on but the mailbox is full. No one to talk to & now I know I will never get my money back. I hope that no one else has given their hard earned money hoping to sell their time share, but I am afraid others fell for this trap too. Is there anyone that knows if anything can be done? I hope that 'Gina Smith' and 'Maureen Chandler' know that there are special places for people like them. You can't purposefully hurt people & be sent to heaven. What goes around comes around!

The names you mentioned is bogus Gina Smith real name is Rebecca and Maureen name is Peggy. I worked there until I found out these people were scamming people. When I was hired during the interview process knowing what I know now is employers hiring sales assumes that you are aware of the scam. Shortly after I interviewed for another company thinking it was a legitimate operation until during the interview process I was asked if I knew the buyers sales pitch! These people need to be stopped. I since reported those knowing two companies to the FTC. On a brighter note, BlueScape has since been shut DOWN! Just a few weeks ago they got raided out of there Orlando Fl office.
Here's the following link that provides details and possibly recovering your loss.

Hope this helps.

The resale of a timeshare is a legitimate business. Companies agree to advertise a timeshare for a fee on their websites. As with advertising, the membership doesn´t need to sell in order the fees to be legitimate. The difference between an honest timeshare resale company and a scam, is when the company falsely suggest they have a buyer waiting for their timeshare, or picture unrealistic, overoptimistic selling possibilities:
