If anyone would to search my name in google, along with many others on the site it will show on the Front page a link to your "mugshot" with a list of crimes (that is possible that you were not guility for any of them like in my case) and then they require you pay them to remove this defamatory information. It is criminal and since my name pulls this information up I believe it will affect me from getting the job I desire. The fact that you have to pay someone to remove destructive information should be illegal and I request your support in this.

I am just as pissed as everyone else here. While in college I participated in my share of youthful indiscretions will earning my degree in journalism. I also live in Texas and frequently go to Austin. I would like to take pictures and hassle (legally) the shitheads who started this. Lets give them a taste of their OWN MEDICINE. I am in the process of seeking legal advise on this one, It's legal to post the picture, I don't know if it's legal to charge you to receive payment to get the picture off, I think that would be the issue, ruining people's lives is Not legal and also if person had expungements, and were Not charged for this is a question, I am looking into all of this, will know end of next week.

What you need to do is file a written complaint with your state Attorney General's office, the division of consumer protection, and the Federal Trade Commission. Detail what they've done, and that they are demanding money to remove the information.
