On Febuary 9th, 2011 I filled out an only inquiry form for CarHelpUSA, LLC on there website located at carloanhelp.org aka carloanhelp.com. I was called Feb 9th at approx 6pm from a man named Kevin Kelly, the number on my called ID showed up as Private and I was informed he was calling me on his personal time. He explained his company could lower my monthly payments, decrease my interest rate, and obtain a deferment on my auto loan to allow me to get caught up ( I have recently divorced and it has taken a toll on my financially). The fee for this service was $500.00. I explained I would not be paid until Friday and he stated that was fine we could get all the paper work going and get things started. At that time he forwarded all the info and I signed it via a web service called rightsignature.com. I provided my debit card information to him to deduct the $500 on Friday. I was told Mike Baxter would be contacting me the following day to start the process, he was one of the best employee's he had blah blah blah. On Feb 10th at approx 3:20pm I received a call from Mike Baxter. He was asking me about my current loan situation etc. My impression of the phone call was that he seemed to know nothing of what was going on. This made me very uneasy. I hung up the phone and contacted Kevin Kelly immediately, I informed him that I just spoke to Mr. Baxter and that he didnt seem to know what was going on, I told him I was having doubts at this point this was legit, Mr. Kelly assured me that everything was fine Mr. Baxter had not yet received my paperwork and that the details of my situation had yet to be presented him. I hung up the phone awaiting a return call. At 3:44pm I received a text message on my phone from number 239-405-5080 that read this: "My Name called Mike and he scared her that dumba**..I calmed her down and we are pulling $500 first thing tomorrow morning" I still have this text message on my phone. WOW I thought. I immediately called this Mr. Kelly back and informed him of the message I just received he informed me that the person that sent that message sent it to my number on mistake that it was very unprofessional and that he was not going to take charge of my case personally. He always informed the person that sent that message was sent home. He gave me at that time his personal number to ease my nervousness, guess what his personal number is 239-405-5080. At the time I didnt put the two together, but a few min later it hit me and I sent a reply to the message I thought i funny his personal number was the number who sent that text, the reply I received was this: "I let my assisstant use my phone, DO NOT WORRY , I am taking personal interest in your case and you are in good hands. Again my apologies, Dont fret you are going to be pleased with our results, you have my word. " I then received another text message saying: "Givens 940-228-7563 she is a sweetheart and asked if you could call her" I did not call that number, what I did was immediately call my bank and cancel my debit card. Wrote an email to [email protected] and sent a message stating I want nothing to do with there service. This company has been in business for a short time and let me tell you I cant seem them lasting longer then that. I am posting this so that no one else falls victim to this scam. I am lucky had that message not been sent to me on accident I would be out $500 and the sucker that got taken by them. Stay away from them. After further research there are companies out there that charge a nominal fee for there service and are honest and upfront, this place is a scam. I am still debating going to the police I will without a doubt keep these text messages on my phone, just in case.
