Cash For Iphones is the quintessential bait and switch operation. The online website will "quote" you an amount that they owe you for your phone. For my iPhone 4, this was quoted at $116 with a defective screen. However, once it is received by the company they call you and quote you a ridiculous amount ($30) for the iPhone and say they have already wiped your information and if you don't accept the amount, then you have to pay for UPS to ship the phone back. This is fundamentally illegal and shows the organization for the scam that it is. Please never use Cashforiphones.com unless you want to be robbed of the money you deserve (it should be noted that the company parts out the iPhones when they are received and can make upwards of $450 for each iPhone that comes in the door. There are many reputable alternatives to CashforiPhones.com, PLEASE USE AN ALTERNATIVE.
