Certegy Check Services DENIED!!!!!! Reason Code #2? Internet, Internet

I went to Wal mart here in Rochester to cash my first payroll check from my new job after three years of unemployment and boy was I excited! My first check exceeded the amount I had thought it would be and I really wanted to finally have some cash in my pocket, albeit maybe a little too much cash to carry on my person at one time. The store associate, as I believe they are titled, ran my payroll check then handed it back to me with a little piece of reciept paper and an apology for not being able to cash my check. So.........I called the number on the piece of reciept paper and was told by an automated voice that I or my check had not met with certain criteria, and the exact criteria I had not met was then not explained to me. That is a perfect example of GREAT customer service. NOT!!!!!! I have never heard of Certegy until yesterday yet their website claims they have been providing verification services for something like 50+ years. Where? On some tiny, 1 acre, uninhabited island in the South Pacific? Piss Off Certegy, and Piss Off Wal Mart for using them. My guess is that Certegy is a storefront to provide an avenue for thieves and ne'er do wells to gain private consumer information for use or sale to other ne'er do wells.
