After filing the Ripoff Report complaint I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
I did this on 5/17/2011 stating their refusal to stand by their written contract as stated in the Report. Today 6 weeks later they respond by stating they have not reviewed my statements but feel if I state I was denied buyout weeks as i stated that they would notify reservations to allow me 3 more weeks @ the $95.00 stated in my contract BUT I could not stay @ Cherry Valley Lakes Resort and that I must chose one of their other CRA parks Even though The contract states Park of my choice if space is available. Well I do think that 18 to 31 empty sites would indicate space available. It would also indicate their retaliatory thinking for my contacting the BBB. As an indication of their one way ( all for me ) thinking , when I arrived at the campground Sunday for my usual 2 week stay, the new (old) Mgr. Greg & Terry Palmer asked if i had my tools with me as his A/C on his truck had stopped working ( I had as an employee 2 yrs . ago refilled his unit at no cost to him) and could I help and fix it again. This Is the same mgr. that weeks ago had told me to get out or the cops would escort me out on orders from Randy Wright at Emerald Cove. Later that day after setting up my unit I did i fact charge the A/C unit on his truck because I had made a verbal contract with him ( If it went down again I would refill it for him )and I did keep my word, and fill it.
