I emailed them and called their customer service representative to ask for a refund and was given the standard company response--blah, blah, blah-- that the account default setting is for "automatic" renewal.

I never was given any kind of written membership confirmation or courtesy reminder of the renewal. In fact, the site appears to have little traffic and seems to produce a lot of spam: "So-and-so is looking for you..."

The blogosphere is filled with many consumer complaints about Classmates.com and news of class action lawsuits. Please spread the word to help stop this scam.
