Classmates/Memory Lane Michelle, Member Care Dept. Classmates/Memory Lane charged my VISA $39 without approval. Renton, Washington

I was surprised to see a charge for $39 from Classmates/Memory Lane. I was shocked. So what did they tell me? "We're sorry to hear that you don't wish to continue as an All-Access Passholder (previously known as a Gold member). While purchasing your membership, you were provided with information just above the submit payment button explaining that all memberships are enrolled in our automatic renewal program. This automated billing process prevents any interruption in your membership benefits. Through your acceptance of the membership offer, you authorized us to continue to charge your credit card to extend your membership until you took the necessary steps to remove yourself from this program. If you wish to discontinue your paid membership after the current term, you may remove yourself from the automatic renewal program any time prior to your renewal date." They weren't like this before. I did join when they first started in the late 90's for $19.99. As this Visa is a new one with a different number I do not know how they got it. I called my bank, Citibank and they removed it permanently. Said if it showed up again to call them and they'll remove it." Once again this is another big scam!

i began recieving emails from classmates/memory lane, and I kept getting more and more and more. I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR THEM, NEVER GAVE ANY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION (THANK GOD), and yet, like clockwork, I continue to recieve there stupid little advertisements. Based on the informaiton I am reading on all these SCAM reports, they are sending this to everyone.

BEWARE AND BE WISE, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS COMPANY. I HAVE NEVER SENT THEM A PENNY AND I CAN'T EVEN FIND A WAY TO GET THEM TO STOP SENDING ME THERE STUPID E-MAILS (I GUESS THEY THINK I'M GOING TO HAVE A TEMPORARY LAPSE IN JUDGEMENT AND PURCHASE THIS STUPID CLASSMATE MEMORY INFORMATION. I AM TOO OLD AND TOO BUSY TO CARE ONE BIT ABOUT WHATS GOING ON WITH LITTLE 15 YEAR OLDS I SAT NEXT TO 35 YEARS AGO.

MY ADVICE - LEAVE THESE SITES ALONE AND GET A LIFE. I GUARANTEE YOU, THERE ARE NOT, I REPEAT NOT 7 OR 8 BEAUTIFUL HOMECOMING QUEENS TRYING TO LOOK YOU UP, OT S NUMBER OF QUARTERBACKS THAT WERE SENIOR KING, JUST DYING TO GET IN TOUCH WITH YOU, EVEN THOUGH THEY NEVER EVEN NEW YOUR NAME IN SCHOOL - FACE REALITY, LOVE THE ONES YOU'VE GOT AND STOP LIVING IN THE PAST, ESPECIALLY WHEN ITS A COMPLETE RIP-OFF HOPING TO COME ACROSS A FEW LONELY, PATHETIC PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE THERE PRINCE CHARMING IS JUST WAITING FOR THEM ON THE NEXT PAGE. I forgot password and requested info on how to change it.No answer from this outfit .on 6/13/11 I will ask my master card bank to refuse any further payments to them and will dispute any more charges by them as it seems you cannot cancel membership.pnc@zoomtown.com
