They will rip you off. Mr Prolock aka Mr Locksmith aka AA Automotive Locksmiths is a Licensed Locksmith Company despite maintaing unethical business practices and Terry WHIN-YATES has been granted a license by British Columbia despite a reputation for dishonesty and deceiving the public!
The Company has several names: Mr Prolock aka Mr Locksmith aka AA Automotive Locksmiths are the names of a Company that scams consumers. This is a Licensed Locksmith Company looking for the next mark for it's various scams. DON"T FALL FOR THE MR LOCKSMITH SCAM. It could cost you hundreds to thousands of dollars.

1. Franchise Scam - Targeting immigrants and the ESL community, Terry WHIN-YATES is selling phony franchises for a five-figure fee with no support and no justification. He also breaches his contracts and has stolen from his franchisees.
2. Locksmith Class Scam - WHIN-YATES makes wild claims to be the instructor of the RCMP, Correction Services of Canada, the Canadian Forces and even CSIS and the CIA. His class is actually how to re-pin a Weiser lock cylinder a simple task you can learn on the internet or by buying a re keying kit for $20. He also teaches a class on how to rip off the public if you buy into his business plan.
3. Locksmith Service Scam - WHIN-YATES gives low quotes followed by high charges ($95 quoted, $300 charged). He completes unnecessary work. He dishonours appointments and agreements. He sabotages locks to create more expensive work for himself in the future. He explains how to do all this if you buy into his business plan. |
