Comcast Communication Issues will automatic Payment, Internet

I have been a customer with Comcast for over 8 years. I always made onetime payment, in order to automate the same I used their website to set up an automatic payment on May 5th. On the 14th of May I received a Call asking for payment I told them I had set up automatic payments for my Bills as they become due. The agent told me that it may not have been set up correctly. I informed her I receive a confirmation email back, she insisted I recheck the same and possibility reset it. Thus on the 14th of May 2011 I canceled the originally automatic payment and reset automatic payment. I left for a 15 day overseas trip on the 16th of May. I received a call from a friend informing m e that Comcast pasted a disconnection notice on my door. After 3 calls from India to Comcast in the US I was informed that the system didn't take auto pay and I would be required to call back with an international call the next day as the billing center was closed. I did process the payment over the phone but am still waiting for an explanation on why a disconnection notice was pasted on my door when an auto payment was set up. I believe this is to charge extra fees and give bad customer service. I have also had equipment that was returned to them for which I was being billed for after the return all they did was open a ticket and I was informed I would be notified when it was resolved and this was over 6 months ago and to-date no one from Comcast has retuned my calls. Ralph Roberts claims to run a Customer Oriented Cable Company but the fact is they have the worst customer service and dont care about their customers and they have a monopoly in Denver CO for Cable services.
