Commerce Payment Systems Failed to refund Hewlett, New York

On 2/24/11 I faxed a Cancellation Letter to Commerce Payment Systems, effective 03/01/11. My last batch with this company was 03/01/11. They debited by account in April for $24.85 which I understand was for March processing. However, on 05/03/11 they debited my account $38.37. They say they did not receive the fax and the refund has been denied. The fax was successfully sent. The reason I cancelled with this company is because of their customer service. On several occassions I had customers in the store andf needed to contact them and my hold time was 30-45 minutes and the customer ended up leaving. Every time I called them and was on hold and asked to leave a message and call back number, no one ever called. Now I have faxed David Devers 3 days in a roll concerning this ma tter and left messages and no call. This is not alot of money but more a matter of principle. I did as they say and faxed the cancellation letter . with their history of neglecting the customer , it is no suprise that they are saying they did not receive the fax.
