Consumer Auto Brokers, LLC Aaron (Ebrash Ebrahimi) Selling cars that last 3 days, selling at unauthorized sites, and does not post Buyers Guide to car
4th of Apr, 2011 by User322344
Called this dealer regarding a car posted on Auto Trader.com. He makes you make an appointment to see the car you are inquiring about. My sister was buying this car so I ask to preview it a week before so we could put it on our list to look at. When I previewed the car there was no Buyers Guide posted in the window as required by the FTC. I even ook pictures of the date and time of the car to send to my sister to look at and no Buyers Guide was present. I did not know this was the law. A week later my sister and I came to preview the car together and test drive it. He once again made us make an appointment. After driving the car he assured us it was a a prime car to buy and good workking car because of the increase in gas prices it was a high comodity right now and the price would go up on it. He convinced us that he normally takes certifed checks but would make an exception to us and asked us to go to the ATM and pulled out as much cash as we could and he would let us write a check for the difference and take the car. We thought he was being exceptionally nice to us and fell for his trap...... After 3 days of having the car it began to make a knocking noise. At first I thought it was from maybe low grade of fuel and decided to updgrade the gas octane and maybe it would stop. It continually got worse and on the 10th day the power in the car was about gone. After taking it to 2 different mechanics with the car barely making it one independent and the other being a dealer it was the engine and it would need replaced or the car would not drive. After calling and discussing the circumstance with Aarron the owner/operator and sales person of Consumer Auto Brokers, LLC he was unwilling to take any responsibility for selling us a car that could't even operate. After all this come to find out this dealer Consumer Auto Brokers, LLC brings these cars over by appointment because he doesnt have a "temporary site permit" to sell these cars and violates the Gwinnett County Zoning Ordinance by selling and lettting consumers inspect and test drive out of that location. This would be why he never post the "Buyers Guide" as required by the FTC in the window. He doesnt want to get caught doing this. He also advertised on his website that he gave a 3 month warranty on his cars so his customers could feel at ease. This is bullcrap......... He never even offers it to the customers because he claims they get such a good deal that it wont be offered on that car and it would be "as is" on this one he says. Yeah what a great buy! I am going to seek damages for the $3,310 I put into a car that I bought for about the same price. I hope that if anyone has ever bought anything from this guy that you will speak up and let us know your story as well. Even if we never can recover from being scammed like this we want to make sure he never sells a car again here in Georgia and gets the fines he deserves for the follwoing violations as a dealer.

My name is Aaron from Consumer Auto Brokers. I dealt with Loretta and her sister(Buyer). First off I would like to apologize like I did before for unfortunate situation with your purchase. As I told you before I had no idea that this vehicle had a major problem with the engine. You (Loretta) looked at the car twice, drove it twice, and if I am not mistaken I told you that I can allow you to have a mechanic look at the vehicle. Your son is a mechanic from what you told me but yet you did not get the car inspected and it is not my responsibility to find a mechanic for you to inspect the vehicle it is the buyers option. I couldn't offer warranty on the car because I reduced the price and adding warranties actually costs the dealer money so I did not have any room for one. I never said all the vehicles came with warranty because the warranty company cannot warrant some vehicles maybe because of year or mileage. After the fact I even tried to help you find a good affordable mechanic and when I did you even refused to take him on the offer to tow it to his shop for free! You or your sister on your own will decided to repair it at the Hyundai store and pay a premium for that so to reply to your post. Yes I am a good honest dealer and yes I intend to keep selling vehicles in Georgia with a good reputation and I will defend myself on a website such as this one or in court.
