Cotabato City is a pretty dangerous place for some people because of the rampant crimes that occur in the city. Poverty-stricken streets are places where most crimes happen. Almost every city in the world can be dangerous and so it is really important that we avoid places where there are high possibilities of being a victim of outlaws.
For many years, the Marines and Cotabato City police has been doing great measures to reduce the city’s crime rate to its lowest level. The Marines has even added crowded areas such as shopping malls, commercial centers in their list of increased vigilance as these are usual places where most crimes occur.
In Mindanao , Cotabato are just some of the places where petty to grave crimes such as physical injury, theft, robbery, drug trafficking, kidnapping , bombing , bank robbery and murder among others take place on a regular basis.
Even with all the precautions you’ve prepared for in times of danger, you can never expect when bad things will happen. Avoid going to places that scream “danger;” for instance, dark streets, areas without passers-by and even overcrowded places. These are pickpockets’ haven. It is better to keep your eyes open, be alert, and bring a weapon for self-defence. You can never be too sure of people who may do you harm.
