Our company contracted with Crystal Clear Media Solutions last August through guru.com to have them build our e-commerce site. They started off with a lot of great promises from Michael Stewart (my contact there), but in the end it took a over a month longer than expected to get our site finished, and once it was as finished as it was going to be (which was still not to spec or even very well built) they charged us extra. We really just wanted to cut ties with Crystal Clear, and since they wouldn't release the code to us until we paid them the final amount we had to do so. When we took our site to a new developer, we discovered how horrible our site was built. It's a mess. We've paid our new developer double what we paid Crystal Clear Media Solutions to get it up and functioning, but it's still far from a satisfactory site. When I complained about it to Michael he told me I could email his boss DJ, but that he was on vacation indefinitely. Within a month of us launching our site, we were hacked by a person claiming they were subcontracted by Crystal Clear Media Solutions but never paid for their work. They put up a new homepage saying that the owner of our company as well as Dennis Wimberly, Christopher Dangelo, Duvia Media and Crystal Clear Media Solutions were all liars and no one should ever do business with us. He also deleted our whole database of users and sensitive user information, and left a MySQL injection in our code. Since our site is such a mess we haven't been able to find his injection yet, so at this point we are facing having to scrap the whole project. I contacted Michael at Crystal Clear Media Solutions the first time we were hacked, and he said they had let go of a few developers that had worked on our site and that he would get me names so I could track these people down. I still haven't gotten those names, and now Crystal Clear's business phone number is disconnected.
