| CVS Personnel and Pharmacist 1ST TIME ACCUSED OF STEALING IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS, 2ND TIME PHARMACIST ACCUSED ME OF A FALSE PRESCRIPTION LOUDLY ENOUGH |

I am a retired professional who shops specifically at the cvs for my consumer needs and pharmaceutical meds at this particular store of cvs on Mission Oaks Blvd Camarillo for 3 years.
About 6 months ago, I was picking up my meds in a typical long wait line, thus decided to shop around while waiting. I went over to try tester creams on my skin, and at this time noticed a women following me and looking over at me. After I finished when my name was called by the pharmacist meds were ready, I began walking over to the counter,when this women began to shout loudly you stoled the cream not to mention I was dismayed since I have never stolen anything in my life, but humiliated that all the patrons in the store heard this remark basically stating I was a thief. I told her I knew nothing about it, she went back to her counter of creams, came back and then said softly to me it was misplaced so I thought you may have taken it. NO apology, humilated beyond belief, I called administration that day and within a couple of weeks recieved a personal apology from her and a few sample gifts to calm my nerves. I continued to use this store again, since I believed they were sincere somewhat and would improve the way they deal with customers in unusual or difficult situations they may face on a daily basis. Yesterday, I was at my Doctors, who wrote me a prescription for a medication I have used and pick up at this same store for over 2 years. When I drove there to pick up med I first waited in there common long line with girl at drop off. When I got to the front they told me that they cannot fill it since the mg was not written by the Doctor, a federal law, a little upset since the pharmacist could have explained this to me but would not, the clerk did this. I drove back to the drs 20 minutes each way to fix rx script so I could get my med. Again a 25 minute wait, I dropped off the script done now correctly by the Doctor, and went about to shop, while waiting for my med filled. Within 15 minutes my name was called to see the drop off desk, so noticing the long line I ask the same girl whats up this time, and she said the pharmacist will not fill it since it is not LEGAL, of course everyone in line and others heard this and now I am fuming, I have never broken the law. Of course the pharmacist for whatever reason did not show herself to me so within 15 minutes called my doctor who was now really upset with this pharmacy and called himself, while I waited a gentlemen in line so the ruccous, and told me to watch how I talk to the girls, and now a verbal altercation took place and myself and the whole store who witness this was out of control. I have never lost it, but this day I went over the edge shaking tearful, and concerned I may have another stroke which I have a history of. After my medication was filled the pharmacist stated to me will you forgive me and I told her she has caused me more damage than just a simple apology insinuating I was trying to pass off a fake prescription and the volatile feeling in the store with myself and the customers. As I left the store one individual followed me out and said lets go, you called me out, and then instead of punching me gave me a lecture on how to talk to inept staff never knowing the full story. I am so unnerved and cannot recall ever going over the edge like this, mentally I have been destroyed, and feel the symptoms of PTSD and more. I dont know how to proceed but starting by discussing this on your forum and would like assistance. A slap on the hand I dont believe will put closure on this and feel some legal matter should be considered, I am wiped out, and I should know being a retired Psychologist and Professor for the past 25 years. Any help would be greatfully appreciated I am still shaking |
