The Introduction
This scam report is for the company of CyberPower Inc. This company specializes in assembling gaming computers to the mass public, on a customizable basis and shipping throughout the united states. The Purchase
I purchased my first computer from this company. It was done online, hassle free. Great pricing and excellent shipping. My item arrived in the allotted time allowed and the boxing was superb. No visible damages or defects upon the items in question after un boxing. The Problems
The issues that I've been having, started at system boot up. No manuals or instructions were provided to assist with this. Frequent crashing occur immediately after boot up. Complete total system failure rendering the product useless. The Customer Service
Do to the lack of troubleshooting skills, I'm forced to seek their customer service and technical support teams to assist in these issues I've been having with their product. I continue to do so on their convenient website by submitting questions for a request to answer. No response. Another e-mail is sent in furthering my investigation of these issues I've been having. Again, no response. I then resorted to calling the company. I made sure to call on business hours for a response in technical means. This company gives you a "dial calling loop" that prevents you from reaching anyone on the other line. Their policy states that all customers are eligible for free life time technical support. Frustrated with the lack of help and/or services, I am forced to seek alternative support measures by directly contacting the hardware companies of the hardware in the computer, in troubleshooting on my own. The Refund
I was finally able to get a hold of a technical person over at CyberPower Inc., after discovery I could not fix these issues on my own. He began to explain to me that I was wrong on the issues I was having and that I couldn't possibly be having these failure issues. I then become very agitated and politely ask for an RMA refund. I was issued a RMA number for the return. It's been two weeks with no indecation of my refund status after several emails and calling attempts to get some kind of status on this refund. My Regret
I feel I may have been taken advantage of in this situation with $1500 of my money on the line. I have not received any word of the process being carried out. Poor customer service. I regret doing any sort of business with CyberPower Inc.
