D&R Paint&Body Donnie and/or Ronnie Gragg-(Don and/or Ron) Ripped off and scammed by a local Business roanoke, Texas

i have a 1973 corvette that i took to d&r paint&body in august 12 2002 to have a custom paint job and new front bumper installed. the business owner donnie gragg estimated the cost of paint body and bumper installation at 3500.00 dollars. on or about sept 1st 2002 i paid the 3500.00 dollar bill in full so the work could get underway. my car was supposed to be ready on or about november 1st 2002. after november 1st 2002 i drove by there and noticed nothing had even been done to it and i started inquiring about my car. thats when the excuses started.

he didnt have time to start it yet. hes backed up right now. hes financially in trouble right now. he spent the money i paid him and now he will have to do a couple more jobs to pay for materials for my car. ect. ect. ect. keep in mind this is a local business and my neihbor still in operation as of 2011. the excuses and apologies continued for over 8 years. i finally retreived my vehicle on jan 5 2011. nothing had been done to the vehicle. parts were missing, 700.00 dollars worth of tires were rotted of the wheels, all in all the vehicle is in worse shape than when i brought it there. since i have retreived my vehicle there has been no attempt at rectifying the situation and no attempt to repay the 3500.00 dollars that i paid initially to have the work done. so consumer beware this is what you get for 3500.00 dollars from d&r paint&body
