We were scammed by Ray with Dallas Bathtub Refinishing. We failed to research him and allowed him into our home to refinish two bathtubs. Within 48 hrs., both were peeling and developed large bubbles. We immediately called him and left numerous messages. We also tried text messaging and emailing. We paid by cash and although he generated a computer receipt, it has no accurate contact info. He works out of an older small pickup and is balding. He presents himself as a Christian husband and father. He has scammed so many people in the Dallas/Rockwall area that several of us have contacted each other through the Better Business Bureau and scam Report. Ray advertises heavily on Craigslist and has used numerous websites. DO NOT expect him to act like a criminal, he is friendly and well mannered and has probably been doing this a long time. It will continue to be our goal to make him face legal charges for all the individuals in the Dallas area that he has stolen from.
