David Harris Designs is a SCAM. The owner is a former Wall Street broker/banker named David Weissman (aka David Harris) now pushing plastic rocks he calls jewelry. He calls himself an artist on his website. My god, Saks sells this stuff, hello? Saks? Bluefly is already discounting this stuff ** 90%. This company is selling necklaces and bracelets a child would make. This stuff is junk, it falls apart days after purchase. The quality is just awful. The owner has no experience making jewelry. The products are sold for hundreds and in some cases thousands of dollars. The cost to make, is probably $3-5. Im warning all shoppers to Avoid David Harris Designs. The items are basically worthless, the jewelry doesn't look good, and is very very poor quality. Its a Scam.:bah: |

David Harris Designs has an impeccable reputation in the jewelry business. His company is being attacked online by a former employee who was caught trying to steal tens of thousands of dollars of jewels from David Harris Designs. She was fired immediately. Since then, she has spent hours of every day posting lies and false reports about David and his business across the Internet.
Now she's in the jewelry business herself - swapping out high-quality jewels for bad stones and conning customers in South Florida.

Self-described “jeweler” Tara Rose has been exposed as a scammer and a fraud. She was caught stealing from a jeweler in Manhattan and fired – but not before she got away with tens of thousands of dollars in gems and jewelry.
Her partner-in-crime is her “father” Michael Rose, who was also rounded up in the Manhattan theft. Both Rose’s are accomplished con artists with professional knowledge of the jewelry industry. While
they are smart about the business, they are smarter about how to rip you off.
Today Tara Rose runs two “private jewelry stores” in South Florida – one in Boca Raton, the other in mid-town Miami. She has changed the registered names of her businesses several times in the last four years – part of her modus operandi.
Today she operates under the cover of www.RingFingerStudio.com (3250 NE 1st Ave. Third Floor, Midtown Miami) and www.TheMrsShop.com. Both covers hold her out as a purveyor of fine “green” jewelry – pieces which are made of conflict-free diamonds and reclaimed metals.
This cover helps her commit her specialty crime: swapping out high-quality gems with sub-standard stones and high percentage fine metals with far less valuable replacements. Unless you are a jewel specialist, you won’t be able to tell. She makes huge money selling your high-quality materials to contacts in the business.
Her “father, ” Michael Rose, is currently employed by Provident Jewelry in Ft. Myers, Florida. Tara comes by her criminal talents honestly – her father is an accomplished con with an eye for the finest gems and a talent for making them disappear.
If you purchased any jewelry from Ring Finger Studio or The Mrs. Shop, you have been ripped off. Get to a professional jewel assessor right away – and make sure they are not affiliated with Tara or Michael Rose. |
