MR. David Lamberson "INJECTED RACING" OF SPRINGFIELD MISSOURI WORK LOCATION AND Republic Missouri used MARTY'S AUTO & MACHINE 18765 Lawrence 2230 Aurora missouri MO. 65605 to work on the 4.6 liter engine this where alot of the machining took place there at MARTY'S SHOP, who ever or what ever happen with the engine this machine play big role in trashing the engine , to back up my state that the engine was trash the people who bought the 1997 svt cobra 4.6 liter did some investgation into the destruction and trashing of the engine. April and her husband came to my house out north of Springfield mo. off of AA highway I sold the car as is and the engine was in the garage, i explain that David LAMBERSON INJECTED RACING screwed the engine up, but i forgot to tell them that MARTY'S AUTO & MACHINE 18765 LAWRENCE 2230 AUROTA MO. 65605 was the machineshop that help DAVID LAMBERSON to rebuilt the engine. April has a web site, that goes into detail what happen to the 4.6 liter engine, she say here is
her site she explains in detail what Marty's machine and Lamberson did wrong to the engine they both basically trash the engine. Thank you April for posting this information on the web site. Marty's auto & machine shop was really unhappy when i came to his shop back when this all happen, the owner i'm assuming Marty ran me off, would not discuss it, basically he said that DAVE LAMBERSON DID NOT KNOWN WHAT HE WAS DOING and that LAMBERSON METHOD IN REBUILDING WAS SHIT, I ASK MARTY WHY ARE YOU DOING BUSINESS WITH LAMBERSON???? We saw a lot of damage that could only have been done by very poor machine work and assembly, both Injected Racing and the Machine shop they used were at fault here.

If the machine shop did not have to jigs and tools to properly machine the block and heads then they should have never tried to do it, just as with Injected Racing, if he did not have the know how or the jigs to put the engine together then he should have never touched one.

This is a full aluminum block people, it requires special machine work and assembly, both parties could not get the deck or head surface to the required 3.5RA that for specs and both shops had no jigs to simulate a full front load with heads as the shortblock was put together.

Lets not forget about the cam caps that were installed backwards.

My wife and I saw the worst that can happy with a rebuild.

The 97' Cobra was rebuilt with another motor and is back to living life as a Cobra should.

Injected Racing is gone and lets hope he doesnt come back, but Martys Machine should know better.

I am glad we could help a little bit and I hope you were able to sue them and get some money back.

This is a full aluminum block people, it requires special machine work and assembly, both parties could not get the deck or head surface to the required 3.5RA that FORD specs for (last I checked no shop in Missouri can get a 3.5 or better RA) and both shops had no jigs to simulate a full front load with heads as the shortblock was put together.

The blown head gaskets (Both blew) were because they were not able to get to a 3.5 or better roughness average on the heads and block, of course the gaskets wont seal! They should have never taken on work they knew that they could not get to spec.

I also forget to mention that the honing was 100% crap, it was the worst I had ever seen, not even close to factory cross hatching. There was no way the rings could seat correctly and the cylinder walls scored badly.

Lets not forget about the cam caps that were installed backwards.
This destroyed the heads, brand new $1400 dollar cams, followers and put aluminum shavings all through the motor.
