Deal Find - Rhonda's Cleaning Service

This is not a legitimate service but is a SCAM

This appears to be a common scan run through companies like Dealfind, but probably Groupon, etc.
So a person puts an ad up with a company like Groupon, which gets sent out to thousands of people. They offer some service, in my case it was a cleaning service but it seems that there are other services as well. The cleaning one is a good scam business because you never speak with a person; there is a fake website and there is a number to a voicemail, email to make it look legit. They even book an appointment with you for cleaning except no one ever shows up or calls or contacts you. Dealfind only has a refund policy of 30 days so the period may run out before you ever use the voucher to find out it's fake. Dealfind probably does not want any negative publicity so, if you complain soon enough they refund your money. Keep in mind the con artist made hundreds of sales in each region across the country and probably got to keep a large chunk of the cash that Dealfind didn't have to refund. I realized this was a con when I saw the same complaint in another country and reappearing all over. So if you bought a prepaid voucher for some service, and no actual person came to see you and you can't verify that this is a legit business, you probably were scammed like I was. Contact your credit card company and try to get the charges credited back, as they can often do. The con works because most people forget to use the vouchers until it's too late and just don't bother as it's only $30-$50. However multiply that by 1000 and it really ads up. Authorities don't seem to even be aware of it you. But now that you've read this you will be.
