| I ordered a Dell computer for my daughter for school the second week in December and receiver the computer about a week later. At the beginning of January I noticed a 877 number on my phone, but I did not answer, the calls continued everyday, today I finally decided to answer the call and it was a Dell financial customer services (a gentleman) who informed me he was calling in an attempt to collect a debt. I asked him what debt, he stated, the computer I purchased, the payment was forty something dollars, and was due January 1st, I kindly said to the gentleman I just purchased the computer, and it have not been a month as yet since I purchase the computer, and you are call about an attempt to collect a debt, as if I had the computer for several months and didn't make a payment, he wanted to get into when I order the computer and how much it costed, which I already know. I got so "angry" I hung up the phone on him. I felt as if I being harassed already for the first payment, and besides that, I haven't even gotten the statement from them as to what the payment was and when it was due. I actually called Dell financial back to have them send me a statement, and was to by a gentleman that would not be possible unless he get my social security #, which I refused to give, because they already have all my information and all I was trying to do was get a paper trail for my records. I'm not too "happy" with "Dell business practices" at this time, so I would not recommend this Company to anyone else, and this will be my last purchase with them, so "Watch out for them" especially, if you are trying to establish a financial relatione with Dell. |
